Ivan Smith and his colleague Anthony Shepherd are behind the wonderful and local Wireworks Project, which is one of my favourite artistic initiatives. This exhibition was a collection of alternative views of the built environment and the blindness to self-destruction that humans seem to replicate throughout our history. The space and lighting of an exhibition are as critical as the works themselves, and this eerie space casts a shiver down the spine every time. Everything that art should be.
