I’m fascinated by the multifarious ways that humans find to escape their structured worlds. Some seek primeval wilderness and others seek solace in the glory of the man made. There is a tension between nature and structure and both encroach on each other, craving dominance. In this series I explore this wilderness/‘builderness’ balance of form, mark and colour.
