Another wonderful set of documentary photographs from Chris Killip in Skinningrove and on Tyneside. When he first arrived in the bleak fishing village of Skinningrove he was shunned but was slowly accepted and able to record the daily lives of the people. Killip records people who have history ‘done to them’ which is a poignant perspective.
